Run YHA
3 trail races, 2 nights, 1 chance to...

Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2014 saw the first ever Run YHA trail running event take place at YHA Castleton, Losehill Hall right here in the beautiful Peak District.
 

With an amazing setting like this, nothing could put the runners off, not even the terrible weather! Yes, in true Great British style, the heavens opened and made the trail just a little bit muddy!
 

This weekend to remember kicked off with a two mile and a six mile race on the Saturday, followed by an evening meal. Then on the Sunday, runners took part in a half marathon trail race through the picturesque scenery of Castleton and the surrounding areas before returning for afternoon tea where the winners were acknowledged with awards.
 

In 2015 Run YHA is coming back, and this year we have the support of the guys at Wild Running so it promises to be even bigger and better.
