Countdown to ShAFF, Outdoors Magic
6th Mar 2012
Outdoors Magic are kicking of the countdown to ShAFF with Festival Director (aka ShAFFMeister General) Matt Heason's favourite films. It's a bit like an advent calendar without the chocolate or the stress of cooking turkey and buying presents at the end. Click on the links to read all about 'em on Outdoors Magic.
And like the National Lottery - there's even a bonus ball
Bonus Video - Life on Hold Matt admits: "I couldn’t include this as one of the top five as I haven’t actually seen it yet, but I’m very excited about doing so!" [He hadn't yet seen it, not because he's slack but because Outcrop Films have only just finished editing it!]
Day Five: The Long Hope Route It’s a quality piece of documentary filmmaking about Dave MacLeod’s single minded drive to climb what must be a contender for the UK’s hardest, wildest, remotest route.
Day Four: Kadoma An emotionally moving kayaking film set in the Congo, and possibly the finest tribute to an adventurer I’ve yet seen on film.
Day Three: Into Thin Air
Day Two: Journey to the Wildcoast
Day One: Snowsport Avalance (click to view trailers and read Matt's reviews on Outdoors Magic)
