The Sheffield Star has five pairs of tickets to be won for the Adrenaline screenings - 17 short extreme sports films - with a choice of four showings at The Showroom, Friday, March 1, 7.15pm; Saturday, March 2, 6.30pm and 9.15pm, or Sunday, March 3, 8.30pm. Winners and a guest each also get a T-shirt from main sponsor Patagonia. First prize also includes a Red Bull VIP meet and greet with free-runner Ryan Doyle at the Cityscape Cinema event on the Saturday. For a chance to win enter our free draw by email or Twitter. OVERRIDE CYCLEWORKS - WIN TICKETS TO BIKE SCREENINGS
It's competition time! We have 9 tickets for the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival to give away. To enter, simply send us a comment on THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WANT FROM A BIKE STORE. You can enter either by commenting on this facebook page, come into the store and complete a slip, or closing date is 7pm Tuesday 26th Feb. Winners will be selected at random and notified by facebook or email. Winners can collect their tickets from our exhibition stand in the Workstation near the Showroom Cinema an hour before the film screening time. The films we have tickets for are: Bike Films 1 Fri 1st Mar 9.15pm; Bike Films 2 Sat 2nd Mar 7pm; Bike Films 3 Sun 3rd Mar 5pm. Details of all these can be found on the SHAFF website. TRAIL RUNNING MAGAZINE - WIN TICKETS TO THE DRAGON'S BACK RUN FILM PREMIERE & Q&A
On Sat 2 March 20:45 the Dragon's Back Race film will premiere at the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival amd we have two tickets up for grabs! Award winning film-maker Rich Heap and crew filmed the 220mile race across the rocky, mountainous spine of Wales last September, and race winners Steve Birkinshaw and Helene Whitaker will there for a Q+A session after the showing finishes. It promises to be an amazing evening and Trail Running will be there too so you can say 'Hi' to editor Claire Maxted.

If you were inspired by our Q&A with filmmaker and climber Jen Randall (not seen it? Click here) then this competition can win you a pair of tickets to go and watch Push it at the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival on March 2 at 16.30. Push it tells the tale of Jen Randall’s big wall climb on the famous El Capitan in Yosemite National Park, USA, with her new-found climbing partner Jackie Sequeira. The promotional blub describes this film as an inspirational story told with self-deprecating humour and a refreshing lack of egotism, and judging by the trailer this is absolutely spot on. We can’t wait to see the film and on top of that we now want to go climbing! Alongside Push it, you will also get to watch two other great short films, Gravicity, a film about city climbing and Driven To Despair, An idiot’s guide to getting lost in the desert in Namibia with almost no money and no guide book.
