ShAFF launch free adventure podcasts, Adventure Travel

The Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF) takes place this weekend, and the organisers have released some free podcasts to whet your appetite if you are going, or so you can get a sense of the action if you can’t make it.
The podcasts are mini-interviews with adventurers ranging from the mighty Leo Houlding, to US endurance mountain bike champ Rebecca Rusch, to ultra-runner Stephen Pyke who ran 283 Munros in a record breaking 40 days, and many more. If you want something to pass the time away at work you can listen to them directly from your computer, or you can download them via iTunes to listen to them whenever you like. All the podcasts are free and last no more than five minutes.
I’ve just listened to the always-entertaining Leo Houlding talking about his climb of The Prophet in Yosemite, and as ever he said something that I want to repeat: “My fear of failing is as strong as my fear of not getting hurt.” I imagine that’s what keeps him at the top of his sport - my fear of failing doesn't hang around for too long on a rock face!
