THE Sheffield Adventure Film Festival is offering budding film-makers from Sheffield and the Peak District the chance to show their work on the big screen with their first ever video shorts competition. It is open to everyone, whatever age, whether filming on a mobile phone, handheld digital camera or camcorder, or even using animation. Skateboarding with your mates on your street? Bouldering on Curbar or climbing on Stanage Edge? Mountain-biking in Wharncliffe Woods? Or perhaps you got footage having fun in Sheffield’s winter white-out? Your imagination’s the limit.
There’s £500 worth of prizes up for grabs, provided by ShAFF sponsors, Sheffield-based adventure travel specialists Jagged Globe, with £300 for the winner, £150 for second place and £50 for third place.
