Free Family Activities
Xplorer Challenge - Free
We're very excited to be teaming up again with Derbyshire Village Games and High Peak Borough Council to put on Free outdoor activities for kids and families during both days of the festival, including the XPlorer Challenge.
Xplorer is an introduction to orienteering using basic maps to complete a series of treasure hunt style courses. A fun family challenge aimed at primary and pre-school children and their parents, grandparents and guardians, it provides young people and their families with a mix of physical and thinking challenges under the supervision of fully qualified staff. Xplorer is a fun navigational challenge and involves a healthy mix of physical activity and decision making. Kids will love the excitement of searching for secret animal or colour markers using a simple map of the Pavilion Gardens parkland to find their way.
