Free Alpine Skills Workshop


With  Peak Mountain Training

Oaklands Manor Outdoor Leadership Centre ,  Manchester Road, Buxton

 

Local provider Peak Mountain Training will have their IFMGA Guides on hand during the morning offering ‘hands-on’ opportunities to learn and practise techniques for safe travel over glaciated terrain both on foot and on skis.


Sessions are FREE for BAF ticket holders and run from 10.30am – 12pm and from 12.30pm – 2pm.

Participants must sign-up for a session online .   (Please note that places may be limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis).

British Mountain Gudes

British Mountain Guides are sponsoring their own Session with 4 of their guides! They are also putting on a free Alpine Skills Workshop on the Saturday at Oaklands Manor Adventure Centre, and will be exhibiting at the festival.
